Monitoring & Evaluation

Improving road safety requires implementing effective policies and strategies. And identifying and optimizing those that are most effective requires ongoing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Monitoring refers to a systematic, routine data collection process used to understand a project or program’s progress. Evaluation is the formal process of assessing the impact on road safety. Together, they provide stakeholders with the information needed to guide decisions, make improvements, and strengthen outcomes. This module explores the role of M&E in road safety management and demonstrates how effective practices can support safer communities.
